This picture frame is built with mortise and tenon joinery at each corner, the joint traditionally used in furniture making, where a shaped tongue seats into a matching slot rather than relying on glue and pins alone. The joint is left visible on the face of the frame. Five sizes run from 6 inch up to A4, and five hardwoods are offered: teak, black walnut, beechwood, shabili and cherry wood. Sizes quoted refer to the inner frame opening.
